The Brightening Peel finishes The Refine by targeting what the microneedling has been working on from below.
This is a lactic acid-based peel, which makes it one of the gentler and more skin-smart options in professional chemical exfoliation. Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that works by dissolving the bonds between dead skin cells at the surface, accelerating cell turnover and encouraging fresher, more even-toned skin to come forward. Because it also has natural hydrating properties, it exfoliates without stripping, which matters especially for melanated skin that is already in an active correction phase.
